Michael began his career in Financial services in 1988 with American Express, including extensive experience at First Data Corporation providing advice and counsel to large financial institutions across the nation. In 2004, Michael was recruited by Merrill Lynch and began his wealth management career. In 2011, he co-founded Aveo Capital Partners in partnership with Brian Rorick and Keys Tinney.

Alongside his wife Anne, they are proud parents of 2 adult daughters. In their free time they can be found on the golf course or perhaps on an airplane in pursuit of new experiences.
